Antara Biswas is a 23-year-old Bengali, born and raised in Calcutta. And you know, like Monalisa, this girl from Gariahat studied in Julien Day School and did her BA in Sanskrit from Ashutosh College. Then she began her career as a small television actress and model. She changed her name from the Antara to Monalisa for persuance his uncle, who believed that this new Ame will luckiy for him to settle in Bollywood.Monalisa first made its debut in the movie Bangle, where she worked with actors like Prosenjit and Tapas Paul.She appeared in Oriya video album, which won several film there.She then turned south Indian films before coming to notice in Bollywood through her cleavage-flaunting role in the film Tauba Tauba skin.She appeared in a couple of Hindi movies in Bollywood, such as blackmail, starring Ajay Devgan and Sunil Shetty, and Tauba Tauba opposite Laxmikant Berde.Earlier in 1999, she co-starred in the Egyptian film in Arabic, called Hammam Fi Amsterdam.
